Hendon Annual Meeting

The Annual Hamlet of Hendon Meeting was held on March 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hendon Senior’s Centre. Several topics were covered throughout the morning including public works, the hamlet’s financial statement for 2017, as well as the election of a new mayor and secretary for the hamlet.  It was reported that there have been issues concerning pes control measures, vacant property upkeep and the sale of tax title properties owned by the R.M.

The financial statement for the Hamlet was also presented to those in attendance.  For any further information regarding this statement, as well as the Administrator’s Report for the Hamlet, please feel free to contact the R.M. office.

In addition to discussion related to public works and the financials, a new mayor was also elected for the 2018-19 year.   Dianne LaRocque was elected through acclamation for the position of mayor, and Terri Tjernstrom was also elected for secretary through acclamation.
